Welcome to Holdernesse School of Music

Holdernesse School of Music pools the musical and teaching talents of two very experienced music teachers, Emma Holdernesse from PDM Creative Arts and Don Holdernesse from Galleri audio. Together these two businesses bring together a

wealth of knowledge and services into one exciting website.

We provide music lessons and classes, as well as other creative arts services, throughout Forres, Elgin, Nairn and the surrounding districts as well as on-line ZOOM lessons across the world.

Whether you are just starting out or want to ROCK out, want to play Classical music or just want to enjoy something

new there is an instrument or group for you.

We recognise that not everyone learns the same, so our programs cater for all types of learners. From those students that don't want to learn how to read music at all to those that want to do grade exams, those that just want to learn how to play their favourite songs to those that want to be a professional musician.

We are also qualified and experienced in working with students who find learning difficult and especially welcome students with additional support needs. All of our teachers are PVG disclosure checked for working with vulnerable children and have worked for many years in this field.

So whether you're  young or old, let us help you experience the joy of playing music, with lessons tailored specifically for you.
